Specific duties could include developing new application features using Java or appropriate scripting languages, testing software in multiple phases of the development cycle, and researching ways to improve application performance.This part-time position is located in Dexter, Michigan, just a ten minute drive west of Ann Arbor. With on-going mentoring by our experienced team, you'll transform classroom theory into real-life practice. - Are pursuing a Computer Science degree or related Bachelor's degree (minimum: Junior status)
- Have completed coursework or have professional experience in Java
- Have experience using Linux in a command line environment
- Are able to work independently or as part of a team on multiple overlapping projects
- Are self motivated with strong communication skills
- Have analysis skills for coding, testing and troubleshooting
- Have experience with SQL and relational database concepts (a plus, but not required)
