Summary-

The ideal Social Media Marketing Manager is motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service. Your goal is to build, engage and cultivate our online community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement creative and highly measurable Social Media marketing strategies and programs

• Own the acquisition of and manage the social community for Coldwater Creek including ownership and management of: Coldwater Creek Facebook, Twitter Pinterest, YouTube, and the Coldwater Creek blog

• Identify, interpret and capitalize upon social media trends

• Develop and drive execution of Social Media calendar

• Partner with creative team to generate a full spectrum of custom content

• Partner closely with merchants to understand key trends and product priorities related to Social Media requests

• Work in lockstep with external PR Agency on news and collaborate cross functionally to surface other content for social distribution

• Work with the following to ensure Social Media aligns with overall Coldwater Creek objectives: Merchandising, Creative (print and digital), eCommerce, HTML, and Web Development.

• Plan and execute standard business processes across Marketing channels to support business needs, including completion of brief template for campaign kickoff through execution

• Collaborate with peers and leaders to ensure project outcomes align with program priorities and direction

• Effectively monitor and report on Social Media results

• Own special Marketing projects as needed, especially regarding new and innovative ways to drive business

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years Communications, Marketing, PR experience, with at least 2 years of Social Media

• A proactive attitude and strategic mindset including a clear understanding of Social Media community, preferably related to Fashion and/or Retail

• Proven success implementing social strategies

• Strong organizational skills; able to handle simultaneous projects under rapid deadlines

• An analytical mindset to help communicate clear results

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

• Proficiency in MS Office suite, as well as key Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.)

• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills

• Working understanding of fashion retail trends
