A Luxury Real Estate Giant/New York, NY
One of the major luxury real estate firms on the planet (but based in NYC) is looking for a Content Producer to help them take their digital efforts to the next level. You'll need CMS chops, skill with photo editing software, and no fear of deadlines to land this gig.
For this role, we'd love to find a top notch content producer who has worked in Editorial or a similarly deadline-driven organization. You're also a seasoned CMS jock — from Drupal to WordPress — and you can learn your way around a new one in seconds flat. You can tag like the best of them. And you work fast.
You've set up and maintained web properties in the past, and aren't daunted by twisting nuts and bolts on a daily basis. You're gifted with Photoshop and can use it to create dazzling image-centric web pages and newsletters. Being skilled at InDesign, Final Cut Pro, and other editing software will earn you a fair amount of bonus points, too.
If this is you — and if you're sick of the media grind and want to try branded content — this may be just your gig.
You'll be working with the VP of Creative at this real estate firm, assisting marketing, communications, and the development staff with making content updates to a raft of web properties, including microsites. You'll take content, re-size it, and edit everything from headlines to images to make sure everything looks great.
You'll also be tasked with setting up and maintaining the corporate and marketing websites. You'll handle distribution of images and marketing collateral to media, marketers, and developers. You'll also provide images and videos to internal and external users from an existing digital library of photographs, renderings, floor plans, logos, and videos.
They're also setting up a new Digital Asset Management system, so if you're experienced with launching one of those, it's a definite plus. Your first six to eight weeks will be focused on migrating content from the old system to the new one, and you'll be expected to do so seamlessly. This will require the use and understanding of SEO-friendly metadata.
From a design perspective, you'll be inserting content and editing email blasts (the templates will be provided). You'll also create ads, presentations, brochures, and a boatload of other collateral for the whole firm.
This is a luxury real estate company, so prepare to come in polished and shining. That starts with a great cover letter and resume!
This is a great way to climb aboard a company that's going stratospheric right before our eyes. If you're an experienced web content pro who can design and edit marketing collateral and navigate a new CMS with ease, come say hi.
