Work Experience and Qualification Details
Education: Engineering degree holder/MCA
Skills: Hands on Java/J2EE Design & Development, Project Management
Exp Level: 7+ years
Location: Pune
Role & Responsibilities:
0 Leads & manages multiple development projects providing full technical leadership to the teams involved
0 Complete accountability for the end to end project execution including Requirements Analysis, Estimation & Sizing, Design, Planning, Execution and Client/Partner stakeholder management
0 Regular reporting into the Senior Management and the involved Client/Partner stakeholders for the project progress
0 Ensures that the projects are delivered as per the expected quality within budgeted time and costs
0 Provides technical thought leadership to the team members and offers necessary guidance wherever required
0 Technical innovation – Evaluates new technology options on a regular basis, participates/leads POCs and contributes to the product roadmap
0 Pre-sales support – Actively participates in pre-sales activities including responding to proposals, client/partner presentations etc
Essential:
0 Technology enthusiast with hands on experience of designing highly complex Java/J2EE systems
0 Proven track record of leading & successful delivery of multiple software development projects
0 Sound Solution Design & Architecting skills
0 Experience in working with Open Source technologies
0 Excellent communicator – should be able to communicate across teams and hierarchies within the Organization and the Client/Partner stakeholders
0 Good to have Experience with multiple application servers (Tomcat, Jboss, weblogic, web sphere etc.)
0 Sound fundamental knowledge of Databases – Postgres, Oracle and PL-SQL.
Desirable:
0 Good knowledge of various model-driven architecture and best practices, GUI design/development experience must.
0 Good knowledge of framework driven development in Java Agile development methodology and process oriented development experience a plus.
0 Domain knowledge in Networking/ Infrastructure/ security domain knowledge desirable if not mandatory.
0 Quick learner
0 Should be able to contribute to or execute a complex development project single-handedly. Should be open to take up any assignments as an individual contributor
