Develop data-driven category specific product content strategies to drive sales and improve brand awareness. Leverage multiple content types to create an improved, differentiated, and category-relevant product experience at Target.com. As a Product Content Specialist, you'll take the lead as you…
- Lead development of category content mix strategies focused on images, copy, and data bullets necessary to create robust product detail pages. Additional category input may also include other types of content: rich media (video, audio, etc.), instructional (set up instructions, warranties, etc.), informational (buying guides, awards, size charts, etc.), social (reviews, blogs, guest uploads, etc.) and expert (interviews, expert reviews, etc.)
- Plan, coordinate and execute content merchandising initiatives to drive conversion growth, traffic, and purchase confidence
- Determine standards based competitive analysis, industry guidelines, and a category perspective to deliver the mix of product content necessary to meet strategic goals
- Recommend sourcing solutions and communicate standards internally and externally for quality monitoring and acquisition
- Lead cross-functional communication to ensure organizational alignment and secure approval of strategic work
- Work with vendors, Experience Design, merchant & marketing teams to create on-brand, best in class content, tailored to appropriate customers
- Collaborate with Technology to enable site enhancements
- Deliver end goal of vastly improving product content in order to increase the Target Guest's purchase confidence & enhance multichannel experience
- Manage execution and deliver milestones under established timeline
- Develop metrics based on standards, measure progress, and report results
- Regularly gather insights to build and sustain category and content expertise
- Analyze performance of content, always seeking ways to improve
Requirements
- Four-year college degree with focus in business, marketing, editorial/creative, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years' experience
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills
