About the Role
This is an interesting opportunity to join our growing team in Germany (location flexible across Germany) and as a Solutions Consultant (SC) you are the technical business partner of Sales Account Managers. The SC supports SuccessFactors' business and revenue goals by providing high quality business and product presentations and demonstrations. The SC will also provide input on the qualification of prospects and play a significant role in the creation of business strategies to secure the win for SuccessFactors.
It is essential for Solutions Consultants to possess breadth and depth of knowledge in the Human Capital Management domain.
Responsibilities:
- Work with sales account managers to establish specific account plans and strategies.
- Analyze prospect's requirements and propose the best possible solution.
- Create and deliver demonstrations and presentations to the business and C-level executives.
- Provide best-practice guidance on customer processes.
- Configure application to meet prospect/customer needs.
- Bring in additional consultants and technical resources as necessary.
- Manage the technical relationship with the customer and be SuccessFactors' secondary “face†to the customer throughout the sales process.
- Master and maintain detailed knowledge of SuccessFactors' product-suite configuration options.
- Respond to the technical sections of RFI/RFP's as necessary.
- Document and communicate product feedback and new requirements from the field.
- Always remain a committed and unselfish team player.
Secondary responsibilities
- Support and influence Sales Account Managers and Channel Partners in preparing and delivering demonstrations.
- Provide on-going technical support to well-qualified prospects conducting evaluations and channel partners. This may include training, trouble-shooting, and best-practices consulting.
- On an ongoing basis communicate competitive intelligence from the field.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience from working at software vendor in a presales capacity or consulting background from one of the major system integrators.
- Experience in developing and presenting clear and concise product and business briefings.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience from any of the following practices: Performance Management, Succession Planning, Recruiting/Talent Acquisition, Learning Management, Compensation Management and core Human Resources processes.
- Experience in HR practices, as well as PeopleSoft, SAP, Lawson, Oracle or other HR software preferred.
- B.S./M.S. degree or equivalent.
- Experience in HTML/XML coding.
- Fluency in local language together with English both written and verbal.
