Job Function:
This position supports an organization with enterprise-wide responsibilities for the development and support of applications. The position is responsible for Management Information and Reporting changes and development. The development will be reports, ad hoc queries, etc.
Major Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance supporting ERP and replenishment systems.
Create mobile-ready web applications using a wide range of Front End and Back End technologies.
Responsible for the full software development life cycle of a project including design, development, unit testing, system testing and change management.
Integrate new products and solutions into existing environment for continuous improvement.
Develop advanced SQL statements and procedural code on multiple database management systems (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle) supporting numerous end user devices. Tasks include querying data, manipulating data, generating reports, and more.
Work with end users to define business requirements for new projects as well as supporting existing processes.
Analyze data and solving new and existing business problems.
Work concurrently on multiple projects across different business units.
Good vibe to the environment.
What it takes to fill the job:
Some experience with Mobile Apps (Web Based or Native), Well rounded front/Back End developer. Multiple database exposure (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle) with some ERP Experience. Strong SQL & AdHoc Reporting Experience. Will send without multiple database exposure.
Front End and Back End Web development experience. HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX for Front End. Java/.NET/Python or equivalent for Back End.
Core Java/JEE is a plus.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
Excellent communication, problem solving, and data analysis skills.
Experience in SQL Server databases.
Experience DB2 databases, AS400/IBM iSeries is a plus.
Retail and replenishment experience in an ERP environment (JDA MMS and E3 is a big plus).
Front End and Back End Web development experience. HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX for Front End. Java/.NET/Python or equivalent for Back End.
Core Java/JEE is a plus.
Ability to convey technical specifications in a business friendly manner.
Able to work on multiple "open" projects at one time as they are in various stages of development, test, and approval processes.
Ability to work in a changing, growing company and demonstrate flexibility.
Ability to pick-up and learn new tools and technologies as needed to complete job tasks.
Ability to interact with both technical and business users.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
