General Accountability:

Reporting to the Vice President, Sales (National) will develop corporate marketing and external communications strategies in support of Acrodex corporate goals and objectives, and implement programs and tactics to execute on these national strategies.

This includes managing a team of marketing, specialists in marketing plan development, execution and follow-up for both corporate and program-related services and events design, development and executing external communication strategies

Specific Accountabilities:

1. Conduct marketing research designed to identify and differentiate existing and potential market segment opportunities

2. Initiate and develop strategic marketing plans enabling Acrodex to penetrate new markets and to maximize existing opportunities.

3. Work with key third party partners to understand their marketing strategy and determine where marketing activities and collateral can be jointly leveraged.

4. Support sales staff in assigned project based work, which may include:

       a. Correspondence to prospects and client

       b. Coordination of development of marketing pieces for print and web-based solutions

       c. Preparation of sales proposals

5. Develop, execute and administer external communication strategy including establishing corporate branding and messaging, and promoting a positive awareness of Acrodex externally.

6. Develop and manage a Corporate Social Responsibility plan.

7. Develop, execute and administer a yearly marketing, external communications plan and budget for each.

8. Consult with customers and work with client managers to determine product needs in the marketplace.

9. Specify market requirements for existing and potential services and solutions, in designated key portfolios, through market research and on-going customer consultation

10. Ensure that the delivery and vendor management organizations have the direction they need to make strategic decisions regarding resource investment, capabilities, partnerships, certifications and product development, for each key portfolio

11. Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, work closely with Sales to develop targeted marketing campaigns, and effective sales strategies, which are national in scope with regional considerations.

12. Promote Acrodex's vision and values.

Qualifications (Education/Experience/Skills & Abilities)

1. Post secondary degree or diploma in marketing and/or communication/journalism with a minimum of 5-7 years marketing, communications and product management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

2. Experience in the Information Technology (private sector) industry would be an asset.

3. Project management skills including the ability to take ownership and accountability of work.

4. A proactive and highly organized approach with an ability to motivate, persuade and deal with all levels in the company and externally.

5. Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.
