About the Job
The Channel Relationship Manager (CRM) will be a highly motivated, results-oriented telesales professional who will support designated Partner Account Executives in the EMEA regions in completing new sales and customer renewal activities for larger channel partners plus handling smaller to mid-size Enterprise and Digital Media partners up to a revenue of $1M per year. The successful candidate will have strong relationship and project management skills, familiarity with channel programs with demonstrated experience in supporting a team-based approach. This individual's responsibility will include fostering long term relationships by understanding the partner needs and being a strong advocate of Akamai to drive new business within the install base and enable the partners to grow. The role is based in the Center of Excellence, Krakow Poland.
About the EMEA Channel Team
The EMEA Channels organization is a team of industry leading professionals dedicated to owning and driving the development and growth of Akamai's partner eco-system. Akamai's EMEA Channels team is responsible for the sales, marketing, business development, and support of Akamai's NetAlliance Program (NAP). The EMEA NAP Channels include relationships with large EMEA System Integrators and Service Providers as well as numerous smaller and regional resellers. The CRM team and this position will report solid line into the Tele-Business Unit based in Krakow and will be dotted line into the respective Partner Account Executives in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to designated Partner Account Executives.
- Own and drive business relationship with a defined set of smaller and mid-size partners.
- Own, track and document activities with partners by using Salesforce CRM/PRM.
- Drive sales tasks to completion working with cross-functional teams.
- Work with both internal and partner virtual teams to execute defined and agreed upon tasks.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Science
- 3+ years of tele-based account relationship management within IT market,
preferably in support of channel partners.
- Fluent German,
- Self-driven, energetic, convincing, team player.
Desired Qualifications
- Sales/Channel background in high-tech industry.
- Project and program management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
