We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive and develop leading product experiences on our mobile and web products. You will be part of a talented cross-functional web product team at our HQ in Melbourne. The team is growing rapidly but remains nimble, and your contributions will be critical in setting the stage as we scale for growth. We have an exciting business model that leverages the best of technology, design, retail products that we print on demand, and a global marketplace, to empower independent creatives who create up to 70,000 new designs a week.

More about the role

As a Senior Product Manager you will develop and evolve the strategic vision for your area, discovering an experience that is valuable, usable and feasible for our customer. You will inspire, be persuasive and be a leader in a product development team. Your role will be to help define a clear direction that meets the strategic goals of the business, ensuring the team defines delivers on the goals.

We work in small, autonomous teams that work collaboratively to deliver value. The teams define their own work under the umbrella of broad goals. We seek to deliver iteratively and have a well developed model that allows regularly (often daily) deployments. Your role is to prioritise among the myriad of opportunities to deliver on the user experience, define success and work with engineers, designers and key business leaders to deliver. We are highly data-driven and subject our ideas to testing that helps uncover signals on how best to solve customer needs. We expect our Product Managers to excel in the following ways:

Developing a strategy and flexible plan, from all forms of data to form necessary insight, greatly improving our customer’s life, delivering measurable business impact.

Advancing the current Redbubble experience quickly and immediately, balancing the short and medium term, to iterate small steps to the bigger picture strategy.

Laser focussed on the shopping UX – how do we drive more conversion from our mobile users.

Discovery – We have 13M designs across 50+ products, collaborate with wider web product team to turn this into a leading user experience.

Create native mobile apps that are truly a step change from world class levels.

Deliver a data engine that can drive engagement in our huge content range, keeping personalisation & loyalty front of mind.

What you’ll bring to Redbubble

5+ years in a Product Manager role for a Consumer Internet based company. Ideally Digital

Commerce, Marketplace or Consumer App experience. Previous experience as a Data Scientist/Engineer preferable.

Background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent degree.

You’re curious : Data driven and highly analytical. Deep experience in data and customer insight-driven product management, with ability to self serve from analytics and data tools (experience with statistics and AB testing would be advantageous).

Born leader with a bias for action – ability to make the hard decisions, but also listen and bring people on a journey.

Customer-focussed – You live and breathe consumer user experiences and have a solid grasp of usability

Strong communicator/ negotiator – to the wider business and spokesperson for the product area.

Strategic thinker – can quickly analyse what really will grow your product in looking for strategic accelerants, over just releasing features.

Personal drive – able to look for both clever ways to get things done, hit the ground running and deliver business impact. Part of a wider Product Management team, where you are expected to operate at an enhanced capacity.

Mobile app, and user experience background highly desired. Fusses over the details and has a love of usability and gets great design.

Solid grasp of technology and design, digital marketplaces and ability to engage with

engineers and product designers, through to end customers in a meaningful way.

Sense of humor and ability to deal with change in a rapid growth business (we all roll our sleeves up!)
