Our Product Team own and drive the development of the following products and work with other departments to design industry-specific solutions:

Platform services (provided via the 7digital APIs) on which our B2B customers build their music services. Platform services include music discovery (e.g. search and recommendations), media delivery (e.g. streaming, download, and radio), playlists management, payments, etc. See our API documentation for more details.

Web-based management and data tools with with B2B customers can view data dashboard, curate playlists, search and browse through our music catalogue.

SDKs and sample apps which we provide to B2B customers to help them build apps and services quickly and reliably

Now we are seeking to hire a product manager to join our Product Team. The main area of responsibility will be the web-based management and data tools, but it can change from time to time as we are in a very dynamic and fast-paced industry. This role will report to Head of Product.

Roles & Responsibilities

Define and evolve product vision and product strategy

Manage product backlog, a prioritised list of what might be included in a product; decide what is on a backlog, what is the priority of those items in the backlog, and articulate and explain why

Engage with customers and users on an ongoing basis, collate their feedback and iterate the product strategy accordingly

Define, capture and track key performance indicators; share that data internally and ultimately make better product decisions based on data

Evaluate and monitor competitor activities and conceive strategies to counter them

Effectively, passionately, and from a position of knowledge, support 7digital’s commercial and client operations teams in their efforts to secure revenues

Contribute to the efforts of the product team by sharing best practices, key learnings, constructively provide feedback

Experiences and attributes

Ideally, at least three years of strong previous experience in a product manager or product owner role (experience with data-related products will have an advantage).

Experience in managing end-to-end products and data-informed product decision making

Experience with product and platform telemetry analysis tools like Google Analytics, New Relic, Kibana, Datadog, Sumologic, etc.

Ability to think strategically; product vision and strategy should drive and underpin day-to-day product management activities

Good understanding of web user experience design

Excellent understanding of agile/lean principles

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders

Strong communication skills

Open and collaborative; supportive and constructive
