Job Description:
The Forklift Driver uses a forklift for the purpose of loading and unloading; delivering operational excellence and creating an outstanding customer experience, in order to drive sales and profit
Responsibilities:
Communication/Documentation
Communicates to dock loading and unloading areas
Communicates operational / space needs to Operations Supervisor
Maintains appropriate documentation on safety
Customer Experience
Demonstrates WORTH behaviors consistently
Vehicle Operation
Operates and maintains vehicle in accordance with prescribed safety standards and DOT regulations, if applicable
Identifies and reports faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately.
Loads and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment
Clean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets, wood and plastic.
