Job Description:
JOBSUMMARY

The Director of Customer Service is responsible for developing and improving J.B. Hunt's Customer Experience processes, including but not limited to: project management and implementation, communication to internal stakeholders, and strategic initiative planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* 1) Work independently and within a team on existing and ongoing projects to enhance our Customer Experience.
* 2) Creatively design new methods and processes to improve our overall Customer Experience, in order to meet growth goals and objectives.
* 3) Act as a liaison between departments, including working with all levels of employees, in order to increase efficiency and drive process improvements.
* 4) Prioritize time and duties to generate best utilization of resources during projects. Communicate goals, objectives, and results to division and superiors in a timely, accurate manner.
* 5) Demonstrate an attitude of leadership, success and ownership in each assignment or project; provide productivity reports to senior leadership.
* 6) Initiate proactive solutions to items and processes needing improvement.
* 7) Attend and participate in management meetings; develop agendas and record and communicate meeting outcomes and action items.
* 8) Handle sensitive and confidential information.
* 9) Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have a 4 year college degree with a minimum 2.7 G.P.A., previous demonstrated management and supervisory experience or three years employment with J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. In addition, candidate must possess the following qualities:

* Detail oriented with independent decision making abilities
* Ability to lead and coordinator multiple projects
* Excellent organizational & time management skills
* Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and customers
* Capability to research and solve problems with minimal supervision and work under constant deadlines
* Ability to handle a variety of tasks, work in a fast paced environment, and manage stress
* Must possess poise, tact, and diplomacy
* Creative
* Aggressive
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Analytical ability
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
* Human Resources and Management experience preferred.
