Job Description:
The incumbent will be responsible for supporting JB HUNT FMS Client Operations with gathering and analysis of large data sets for various business projects. This individual will also be involved in the detailed documentation of business requirements, process mapping, and data validation that solution design fulfills the business requirements, and supports the creation of an implementation plan. During the project, they will work support with any enhancements towards stabilization or document lessons learned upon project closure. This role will be heavily involved in Customer Value Delivery projects that require one to interact directly or indirectly with FMS' largest customer on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Query company information systems to capture necessary data sets.
* Responsible for assisting in the development of JB HUNT cost saving directives.
* Use various analytical tools to prove or disprove both internal and external business cases.
* Regularly coordinate meetings with management to present projects status.
* Monitor projects to ensure they do not violate JB HUNT standards, processes, and procedures.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
* Illustrate and document various communications flows or process steps through Visio mapping.
* Perform other duties as required or assigned in a timely fashion.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; 2+ years related experience in Engineering, Supply Chain Analytics, Business Finance, or Process Improvement; or equivalent combination of education and experience and 5 years field experience.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES

Possess an internal drive to problem solve by analyzing data necessary for project development. Can effectively and tactfully manage through customer initiatives by presenting data to prove or disprove project charters.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Is able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Can write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, business objectives, presentations, and develop graphical representations needed to represent project findings. Possess adequate skills to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

This personnel must have the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and business finance. These concepts will be applied by using various software tools to produce data in each category.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. He or she is able interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions that may be in mathematical or diagram form, with several abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Required:

Preferred: Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Certification

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION: Sr. Vice President, Vice President, Director, Regional Business Manager, Operations Manager, & Account Manager.

EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION: Various levels of leadership at assigned client.
