Job Description
The ideal candidate is a business analyst with a process oriented approach and a specialized experience in Business Process analysis.
He/ she should have experience in analyzing business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved. He/ she should be able to facilitate process workshops, document any information elicited using process maps and present new process designs to stakeholders for discussion.
Additionally, he/she may also need to work on analyzing software requirements to understand the business needs and to determine how a proposed solution can best functionally fulfill those needs.

The day-to-day will be:
Discover, define, document, re-engineer, optimize, implement core business processes and guidelines for the various departments using these processes
Solve process related problems by creating detail process design specifications; and work with other areas across the business units to support a total solution approach
Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools
Perform gap analysis between As-Is and To-be states using different tools and methodologies
Facilitate collaboration within and across business units to provide process solutions.
Develop complete and accurate process models and data in coordination with the business and IT Teams.
Drive change management for the adoption of new processes, together working with other stakeholders.
Own business analysis tasks to define project scope, gather business & functional requirements and convert them into requirement specifications including uses cases, data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, mockups or other detailed deliverables.
Be aligned to the agile methodologies for project execution.
Learn and become proficient in all job-related software applications.

Your profile
You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think creatively and apply solutions in a fast-paced environment.
You have strong experience analyzing business processes within a service-based organization.
You must be results oriented, autonomous and have a consultant mindset
You have ability to work with individuals across multiple teams to accomplish objectives.
You have atleast 8 years of experience preferably in a similar role
You have experience gained within an aviation company would certainly be advantageous
You have know-how of Agile methodology and software project life cycle in general
You have willingness to travel if required
You have knowledge and understanding of Industry processes
You have knowledge of:
a BPM Suite (BIZAGI or BPM Aris)
the BABOK (and its AGILE extension) considered a plus
Industry recognized BA certification considered a plus
Microsoft tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
any other BA tools…
You are strong customer orientation with the ability to manage and exceed customer expectations.
You have an excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
You are fluent both in English and French. Other languages would be an advantage/asset
