We are Livebrick Labs - a Silicon Valley and Bangalore based team of entrepreneurs - both developers and marketers.
We seek a product or product marketing manager who has a keen interest in applying his/her craft in marketing one of our new products that builds on existing professional communities like Linkedin and StackExchange.
NOTE::::: This is a founding team and we are pre-funding. So there is no salary till we get funded or the product hits revenue. We are open to those who will work Part-time - evenings or weekends.
Past experience in successful OR FAILED startups is a BIG PLUS. A love of words and marketing copy, product positioning, design sense and creative bubbly ideas are good too. Ability to be structured and detail oriented is a must. Creating effective and simple Powerpoints (with few simple bullets) to communicate product strategy or ideas is another big plus. And you should be able to talk clearly and confidently with other team members and partners worldwide. Knowledge of recruitment in India/US , the India/US developer community or the India/US online market a plus.
And if you haven't a lot of experience you must be willing to put in long hours and learn from some of the best product managers who are already part of the team. For clarity - we welcome folks of all backgrounds and age groups. Our team is diverse and has folks pushing 50 and others just crossing 20.
