Want to apply your Project Management skills to one of the largest utility scale solar energy projects in North America?
Our client is currently in the process of creating the premier solar farm in Canada and looking for a highly motivated and reliable individual to oversee the entire two year construction project located in the Hamilton & Burlington areas. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall project execution to ensure budgets, timelines, and specifications are adhered to as well as act as liaison between all stakeholders. This role is highly visible and the successful candidate will be the face of the project to the community, neighbours as well as participate in community engagement sessions.
The Successful candidate will be a highly organized, assertive self starter with a “hands on†attitude and very strong time management skills. This role requires an individual with a results oriented mindset and proven ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. Candidates with a Bachelors or Masters in another field may be considered with previous experience in PV system design and construction. The successful candidate will have 5+ years previous experience in construction management, a strong understanding of PV system design with a solid technical aptitude. The Project Manager must have strong computer skills within the MS Suite of software as well as a thorough understanding of relevant federal, provincial, and local construction regulations.
