Conservation Services Group/Black River Falls, WI
CSG is seeking candidates with strong customer service and trade skills to fill a summer position as Installation Technician in the delivery of residential Direct Install energy efficiency program. Qualified candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills. Applicants must be willing to travel daily in designated territories in the greater Black River Falls/Whitehall area.
Responsibilities:
• Installs energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), high efficiency shower-heads and water-saving kitchen and bathroom faucet aerators.
• Represents and is an ambassador for a well-known and well-respected energy-efficiency Wisconsin-based non-profit organization.
• Establishes rapport and consults with homeowner during 45-minute direct installation.
• Educates homeowner on energy efficiency and other programs that could save the homeowner energy and money.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
• Troubleshoots installation breakdowns if needed.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
• Accomplishes operations and organization goals and mission by completing related results as needed.
• Participates in marketing and community outreach as needed.
• Opportunities to advance in the company are available.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Personable, outgoing, and friendly
• Knowledge and experience in the use of basic hand tools
• Some trade school training or previous construction experience a plus
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
