Do you want to work on new mobile app and modern web experiences? If you are passionate about quality and innovation in the user experience space and have the technical chops to see it through, then this is the role for you! Manual testers need not apply.

The SharePoint Data Driven Experiences team is reimagining the small to large business users' experiences of SharePoint in Office365. Our team is focused on democratizing what big corporate customers currently pay millions of dollars for in customizations to their corporate intranet for the masses. We will expose must-have experiences, out of the box, as an amazing value proposition - just for being an Office 365 customer. We work closely with our peer disciplines including designers to build world-class experiences across all modern mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Windows 8). We use experimentation and use customer usage patterns to inform us if we are heading in the right direction.

We test in production, use synthetic and real user monitoring, analytics, flighting and experimentation. We work across platforms, and move forward accruing near-constant engineering legacy debt, enabling us to change direction without a lot of cost. We engineer our products to be testable and tested, monitored and measured, as intrinsic attributes of the product.

The ideal candidate will have solid technical and coding skills. iOS, and Android, and HTML5/Javascript experience is a plus. This candidate will be able to analyze complex engineering systems to recommend improvements, and go toe-to-toe with development on product architecture as well as being able to leverage their natural creativity in developing subjective analysis, identifying feature design and UX flaws, and coming up with new and unique innovations to improve the end user experience in order to truly delight our customers. Strong candidates will also have an interest in applying big data to understand both performance and end-user usage trends.
