My client is currently seeking a Linux systems engineer with proficient experience with Linux/Unix systems Experience. Maintenance and support is also essential and required for this well established, industry leading client based in Burnley.
Essential Skills Required
Extensive Linux/Unix experience
Maintenance of ISP System Backups/Server software
Preparation of ISP System Servers
Development/Research of new solutions
Ideally have some Redhat experience
Desirables:
Domain and SSL cert management (Purchase, Renewal, Expiry monitoring and Application)

You will be working in a team with some of the most talented system engineers, your main focus will be on the daily operations surrounding an estate of around 300 linux/unix Servers and must have full understanding of enterprise-size networks and the importance of resiliency and automatic fail-over through health monitoring and other techniques.
My Client is looking for a Linux Systems Engineer and is willing to invest in a starting salary up to £40k + Benefits into you.
