Software company located in Atlanta (Midtown) is seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant (IC). The job is Full time with excellent benefits, and salary is commensurate with experience.
The consultant works directly with clients to gather, understand and translate requirements to consultatively design and deliver the best possible solution for each individual client. The IC collaborates with internal and external teams and is critical to the overall success of every project. No two projects or implementations are the same allowing for creative solutions that satisfy each client. Travel is required up to 75% of the time and can include international travel.
The ideal IC teammate has at least a year and up to 5 years of project management and/or implementation consultant experience. The IC is a highly motivated self-starter that enjoys the opportunity to work with clients to solve their business needs with technology. The IC has a strong technical aptitude and understanding of hardware and software systems, excellent communication and collaboration skills and a passion for customer satisfaction. Time management, prioritization and the ability to juggle multiple projects are all critical skills. The career path for this position could be to dive deeper into technology, move into project management or grow into a leadership position.
As an Implementation Consultant, you will
Actively participate in every aspect of the implementation process including project initiation, design, build, educate, deployment and system acceptance
Work closely with project managers and support team members to understand specific client requirements, process and software product changes
Provide on-site implementation including installation, configuration tuning, and live support of products and services
Gather and translate requirements into design documents
Configure, test and deploy and collaborate with education services for training
Consultatively recommend best practices and usage
Assist management in developing and refining on-site implementation processes
Experience and skills required for success
Bachelor's Degree - prefer MIS, CS, Engineering or related discipline
At least one year of hardware and/or software implementation or integration experience in a software or technology consulting company or within a corporate MIS environment
Technical aptitude and experience with hardware and software systems including RDBMS and Windows 2000/XP
Ability to communicate and develop relationships with all levels of an organization and a wide variety of personalities
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Resourceful, flexible, adaptable and ability to work well with limited direction and oversight
Professional and confident presence with a consultative, customer-focused attitude
Enjoys a challenge, problem solving and committed to excellence
Strong sense of ownership and the ability to wear a lot of hats

Preferred Experience and Skills
