Your new company
An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Full Stack Developers to join a growing digital development team on a permanent basis. My client is an established government agency who are focusing on a digital transformation programme. They have locations across the UK and are driving digital improvement across the organisation and as a result they are adding additional expertise within their technology teams to support a variety of projects.
Your new role
This is a hands-on development role that will require you to work across the full software development life cycle in an agile environment. You will join a highly successful and driven development team in Bristol who are passionate about their work and providing their customers with a dynamic, innovative, easy to use service. The team are developing online digital services in a user-centric, multi-disciplinary, agile delivery environment. The role is very varied with the team developing a brand new applications, primarily with Ruby on Rails, as well as Java and Node, whilst helping support the continued integration and enhancement of existing products, ensuring timely delivery and providing a high level of service.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be passionate about technology and a good communicator, You will enjoy a challenge, be adaptable and have a high level of attention to detail. You will possess strong technical skills across the full life cycle, and proven development experience with at least one of; Ruby on Rails, Node, or Java. If you have any experience of working with technologies such as OO, SQL, Unix, Linux, AWS, Spring, MVC, Hibernate, JavaEE, Git, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SASS, mobile tech this would be an advantage.
