My client are a software company in Central Cambridge who are leading the way in developing "Big Data" analysis software. Large companies are now able to gather more data about their consumers than ever; however the challenge is in how their harness this data and use it for commercial benefit.
My client have developed a software solution which allows companies to see key trends in their consumer data and use it for marketing or anti-fraud purposes.
They are now recruiting for a Web Developer to join their Engineering team based in Cambridge.
The key purpose of the role will be to develop the Front End of the client facing dashboard and additional web applications which will sit within the dashboard. There will also be an element of traditional web development, including the maintenance of the company website.
As this role will be mainly Front End development we are looking for a Web Developer with good experience in the following:
- HTML(5)/CSS(3)
- JavaScript
- Ajax
- JavaScript Frameworks - Angular.js/Backbone
- Understanding of UX principles
- Some experience of Node.js (desirable)
