Job Description
The Manager of Business Intelligence is responsible for the leadership and management of the company's business intelligence, reporting applications and processes, including the implementation and maintenance of the following areas:
Information Builders WebFocus reporting platform
Information Builders Data Migrator data movement software
Master Data Management database (MDM)
Proprietary reporting application
Other data repositories and data gathering utilities
The position works closely with the VP of Finance and Director of Business Interchange to collaborate and deliver key reports and dashboards to the user community.
Required Skills
Lead efforts to provide vision for the company's reporting and analytics
Effectively lead and manage a team responsible for delivery of business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting solutions for the company
Collaborate with the company's user community leadership to understand reporting needs and lead BI resources to successful execution on projects to meet those needs
Lead key strategic project initiatives as assigned, developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource plans, communications, and other pertinent documentation
Implement and maintain the company's Data Warehouse and WebFocus reporting environment
Work with IT staff to ensure Business Intelligence systems comply with existing infrastructure requirements and integrate with security systems, network infrastructure, and other business systems
Monitor and expand data warehouse and reporting platform and related software systems as needed to assure adequate security, performance and capacity
Research new processes and procedures to enhance software capabilities
Prioritize projects with internal customer community on a monthly basis
Required Experience
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a similar degree relevant for performance of the essential functions of this job description
Several years of experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions with management or leadership experience
Experience implementing data warehouse using the Kimball Dimensional Modeling philosophy
Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools

Experience with Data Warehousing ETL tools (data movement)

Informatica PowerCenter
SQL Server Integration Services
Oracle WarehouseBuilder
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2
Ability to manage and maintain a SQL Server database
Ability to write advanced stored procedures in SQL Server Management Studio
Must demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must demonstrate experience and proficiency in effective project management
Must demonstrate a proven track record of working closely with customers and collaboratively delivering solutions to meet business needs
Experience with implementing and supporting Information Builders Web Focus BI software
