Over the past ten years, our client has grown from a single contract into an internationally operating IT support company. Due to continuous success, they are now looking for an Application Support Engineer to join their Operations and Sustainment team.

As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of support to customers using our client's IT applications.
Responding to customer queries, you will investigate any operational issues and strive to resolve problems in a timely manner. When necessary, you will escalate issues to vendors and onsite Subject Matter Experts to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.
You will monitor and maintain applications to minimize operational impacts. Additionally, you will perform any ad hoc investigation and maintenance activities to ensure customers receive the highest standards of service.
Interested? To be considered, you must have:
- At least four years' experience within a systems administration or operational support role
- Knowledge of networks, network infrastructure and common components
- A strong understanding of UNIX and/or Linux based operating systems
- An understanding of the principles of SQL query language and operating systems
- Working knowledge of VMware
- A TS/SCI level security clearance
- A bachelor's degree
As an Application Support Engineer, you must be highly motivated and analytical with great communication and problem solving skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is also key.
Please note, this is a full time role, operating in a panama shift pattern, including night shifts.
