This is a primarily work-from-home opportunity with the ability to travel. Must reside within 2 hours of Salt Lake City. In this position you will lead a team that liaises between the business and the Clients' IT Teams on integration projects. You will manage the relationship, incidents, and provide technical and subject matter expertise. Here they utilize the latest technology from Microsoft, Internet browsers, and latest software languages to build their Solutions suite.

Searching an experienced Lead Integration / ETL Engineer to join our Global Implementation Services group. This position can be based anywhere in the US and will require approximately 60% travel away from your home office.

Major Responsibilities:

Works directly with the client to develop Functional Specification and Technical Specifications

Codes and tests to Technical Specifications

May deliver Technical Specifications to offsite resources to develop integration

Assists with the development of ETL/data integration design requirements and data mapping exercises

Analyzes integration requirements and functional specifications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and to derive the data architecture to support the requirements

Develops custom and template-based data integrations using a proprietary ETL data integration platform

Validates end-to-end ETL/data integration processes to ensure performance, reliability, and data validity/accuracy

Generates sample outputs/files for validation throughout the integration development life cycle

Deploys and configures ETL software environment across development, test, and production environments

Develops Shell Scripts to support pre/post-processing of input and output files

Leverages version control systems for SQL objects and ETL configurations

Assists with the creation of data packages to support various project phases (System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Go-live)

Develops ETL process documentation

Supports go-live and transition to support activities

Finds opportunities to generate standardized/reusable objects and approaches which can be leveraged across projects by the entire team

To be successful, you should possess most of the following:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL/data integration development experience

Experience with data warehousing concepts a plus

Experience with at least one ETL data integration platform (SSIS, Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, Talend, Clover ETL, Pentaho, etc.)

Hands-on database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server

Hands-on experience with basic database administration (backup, restore, truncate)

Proficient in SQL including performance optimization and tuning specifically, Microsoft T-SQL, and/or Oracle PL/SQL

Experience with developing and deploying SQL Stored Procedures

Experience with Shell Scripting, Windows Batch, PowerShell

Experience working with and developing flat files using various delimited and fixed-width formats

Comfortable reviewing log files and stack traces to troubleshoot issues

Strong technical, analytical, and design, and communication skills

Any of these would be a plus:

Experience with Java, Eclipse, and object-oriented programming concepts

A willingness to learn the fundamentals of Supply Chain planning solutions and the data integrations required to drive them

Experience sourcing data from master data systems

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio

A self-starter, who takes initiative and works well independently

A team player who's flexible and collaborates with colleagues and clients

Detail oriented, with an internal desire to solve problems, make things work, and seek
