Field Sales Consultant - North London/Bedfordshire

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced field sales consultant to join an industry leading supplier to both the public, and private sectors across the UK.

Within this role you will be instrumental in driving forward sales of the company's product line to clients such as the NHS, Local Councils, Police Departments and private sector organisations. Building on an already impressive number of high level clients, your role will be to open up further opportunities across your territory and ensure that all current clients' needs are met as and when required with regular meetings. This is a warm patch with a number of pre-existing clients already in place which will be handed to you when the role begins.

Although the company HQ is based in Yorkshire you would only be required to make your way to the head office for quarterly reporting meetings and occasional company incentives. Your patch' would be the geographical area between North London and the East Midlands, which includes everything North of Watford, through to Peterborough and the surrounding area. As such we would be happy to consider applications from candidates based anywhere within this geographical area.

Key Skills Include:

Previous recent experience within a field sales role (2 years minimum)

Commercial knowledge of dealing with both public and private sector clients

Experience of dealing with public sector contracts and/or tenders

Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders of all levels within businesses

Full valid UK driving license

Strong business development skills

This role would suit anyone with a strong background in Business Development who is passionate about field sales and has hands on experience of dealing with public sector contracts and tenders. Ideal candidates will be currently/previously employed as either a field sales consultant, a Business Development Manager or a Salesman with experience of travelling to various client sites within an individual territory.
