Private Client Trust Services comprises a number of market dedicated teams whose role is to provide exceptional client service in the administration of a wide range of trust, company and foundation structures.

What you'll do

You'll be responsible for the administration of a portfolio of the more complex and/or higher value fiduciary structures on the team ensuring sound financial decision-making, and maintaining and developing highly effective trustee/client relationships. You'll contribute to the team's delivery of an effective and compliant service to a world class standard through technical expertise and cultural understanding.

You'll provide exceptional service levels and client experience for settlors, beneficiaries and related parties throughout the life-cycle of each structure serviced, and maintain and develop trustee/client relationships, demonstrating technical expertise and market awareness leading to increasing client satisfaction, loyalty and brand advocacy.

You'll also:

Maintain and develop strong relations with relevant private bankers leading to enhanced collaboration and presentation of Coutts as an exceptional wealth manager, while fully respecting trustee independence and control

Have responsibility for the maintenance and control of structures allocated to them reflecting house policy / change, and especially in view of ongoing developments in tax and legal frameworks

Ensure collection of fees in structures allocated to them is done in a timely manner and opportunities taken to properly, consistently and fairly charged for activities which fall outside the agreed annual fee

What you'll bring

You must hold recognised qualification e.g. STEP/ICSA Diploma or equivalent; or be Member of STEP, ICSA. You'll have experience in servicing complex international fiduciary structures, especially trusts, managed companies and foundations as well as some experience in engaging and working with industry professionals such as law and accountancy firm.

You'll also have:

Sound awareness of market best practices and trends in the fiduciary industry & ability to adapt to our objectives as well as local trust & company legislation, regulatory and industry requirements

Understanding of trust administration and workflow applications

Good working knowledge of IT platforms and trust applications, including business process management system

Due to local legislation, you'll need to possess the right to work in Jersey (Registered to Work or Entitled status) to undertake this role.
