One of the largest and most highly regarded schools of its type in the country, we are founded on a long history of excellence. The sport and exercise science laboratories are accredited by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences and have Reference Laboratory status from the International Sports Medicine Federation.
We offer a wide range of courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, research degree levels and a vibrant research environment. With around 1,500 students this is a stimulating setting to progress your academic career.
Join a well-established team of 20 lecturing, research and commercially active staff, whose focus is primarily on sport and exercise science and sport coaching. The range of duties of a university lecturer is extensive and diverse. Almost all academic staff will be expected to contribute to both the teaching and the research activity of their subject area.
To succeed in this role you will have experience in any contemporary area of sport, exercise and health biomechanics, or related areas such as performance analysis, motor control or strength and conditioning. The ability to inspire students through a stimulating and effective approach to teaching is vital.
Interviews will take place on July 14th.
