Name and description of hiring department:

Network Operations, Converged Services Operations (CSO), is responsible for voice managed services (VMS), software release management, and ensuring the health of the voice network for VMS customers.

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

Ticketing system downloads related to VMS Release Mgmt

Remote access to customer devices; Cisco Call servers, IP & Analog Voice Gateways

Vendor website investigations related to negatively impacting End of life milestones & dates, Security Advisories, Responses and Notices & software bugs

Produce IP Telecommunications VMS Release Mgmt quarterly reporting

Work closely with VMS L3 primes for each customer account

Essential Qualifications / Skills:

College diploma in electronics or telecommunications, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of a high school diploma is required for candidates outside of the Bell Canada Craft and Services bargaining unit

Valid, or in the process of achieving CCNA (R&S, Voice, Collaboration), or equivalent knowledge. Candidates from outside the bargaining unit must have CCNA or CCNP.

Strong knowledge with Microsoft office suite applications

Knowledgeable with remote desktop \ remote access protocols

Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues

Working knowledge of Cisco technologies
