Major Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing focused strategies to drive Enzo Life Sciences' position with defined market segments. The Scientific Marketing Manager is responsible for orchestrating the strategic and operating plans necessary to accomplish marketing and commercial goals, positioning Enzo Life Sciences as a technical leader within the defined market space. In addition, this position is accountable for achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets, and defined project deliverables, for the assigned global market space.

Specific duties may include:

1.Direct the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive continued growth in the responsible segments

2.Identify current and future technology trends within the focus market that can create opportunities for new markets, applications, and products that fit the business plan

3.Develop and coordinate new business ideas and product developments which complement the overriding strategic plan

4.Develop successful relationships with key customers to ensure adoption of focus products

5.Design and implement effective customer advocacy programs to drive product and company awareness

6.Collaboratively work with Sales and R&D organizations to ensure accomplishments of strategic initiatives and revenue plan targets

7.Work as the project manager or as part of a global, cross-functional team to define and deliver new products, marketing campaigns, and opportunity assessments

8.Design and deliver customer-facing seminars and conferences

9.Develop and execute short and long-term marketing plans, including defined market needs, routes to market, and implementation timelines, to meet corporate directives for revenue, profit, and market-share

10.Provide in-depth market, industry, and competitive analysis and positioning

11.Provide support, training, and tools to global channels

12.Work with global sales & marketing team to create and implement a continuous training program that develops the team's sales skills and technical knowledge

13.Work with marketing communications to create promotions, product literature, brochures, and technical reports for new and existing product offerings

14.Provide timely and reliable progress reports, as requested

15.Approximately 20% travel, as needed (domestic and international)
