JOB SUMMARY

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for generating new business through high volume prospecting to generate and qualify leads to sell Falls Digital services to new customers across the Midwest regional area. This person will be responsible for growing a book of business in digital marketing services. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, digitally savvy, confident, and experienced in the business-to-business (B2B) sales process. The BDR will work collaboratively with the agency's marketing team to follow up on leads generated by strategic marketing efforts. The BDR will manage all prospecting aspects of the sales process and will be actively involved in transitioning new accounts to the agency team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify leads (between 60 and 80 calls per day)

Proactively identify new sales opportunities, create a business pipeline meeting agreed quota and ensure that the pipeline creation consistently meets or exceed targets

Work internally with sales management and marketing to ensure proper quality and quantity of presentations

Implement agreed action plan/s and forecast/s to ensure attainment of business objectives

Follow up on all sales lead enquiries from marketing activities

Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned

Schedule online marketing assessments for the agency

Contribute individually to the team targets, achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and lead qualification

Demonstrate a professional, customer centric approach during all customer interactions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Must have a hunter mentality and demonstrated success in generating new business

Track record of high achievement

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Entrepreneurial instincts and a willingness to develop sales strategies

Understand and be able to articulate the value proposition of digital marketing elements: websites, inbound marketing/inbound sales, marketing automation, digital advertising

Must be friendly, organized, honest, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications

Knowledge of common web based applications such CMS, CRM and marketing automation technologies (HubSpot, Sitecore, Umbraco, WordPress, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus

Understand, contribute and support Falls Digital's objectives, goals and strategies

CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 1-2 years of inside or outside sales experience

Previous sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas a plus (but not required)
