Job Title / Designation: Executive – Business Development / Asst. Manager – Business Development

Job Description:

The main area of focus will be to generate new leads with the aim of creating more sales.

The role involves scheduling appointments, preparing and delivering presentation to the client, having researched their business and requirements.

Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.

Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.

To close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

Work on sales follow-up activities.

Maintain client relationships and ensure loyalty through excellent service

Meet all client needs appropriate to their business

Work as part of a team and closely with other departments within the organization.

Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential

Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Key skills and qualifications of a BD role:

A degree or equivalent qualification with relevant experience of 2 to 3 years in Business Development.

Strong presentation skills is essential

Strong knowledge of business-to-business sales at a corporate level.

Strong research and strategic analysis skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence

Need to be skilled at agreeing and closing deals with clients.

Go getter attitude

Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and associated programs.

Must have access to a vehicle
