AZ Liverpool Street is a smart, comfortable and distinctly London residence. The building dates back to 1884, but once inside it is the 21st century. Five restaurants, four bars, fourteen event rooms and 267 guest rooms and suites have all been designed to create the ultimate modern hotel experience.

The hotel is first in a series to launch globally under the new Andaz brand, fusing the best of contemporary boutique culture, with that of a luxury, five-star hotel experience.

Part of the Global Hyatt Group, Andaz Liverpool Street can be classified as “Big Boutique�.

We are looking for someone with a passion for creativity and customer service.

You must be strategic and enjoy working in a busy environment, selling to clients and working closely within a Private Dining and Events Department.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects and working well under pressure. Good team player, excellent communication and negotiation skills, can do attitude. Sol

id event management sales experience is an essential prerequisite; knowledge of Delphi, Reserve and Opera are desirable.

The main tasks of the role are to:

Attract business and revenue in line with our strategy and budget.

Building exceptional client relationships.

Provide clients with expert knowledge of the hotel product as well as recommending F&B items.

Carry out hotel show rounds selling the hotel’s Private Dining and Events space and accommodation in terms of costs, availability and capacities.

Developing existing locally based accounts for the, working with corporations, associated travel agencies and associations to maximize Private Dining & Events and Group sales.

Exploring opportunities to secure business by developing relationships specifically for Private Dining & Events and Groups.

Confirm all bookings, correspond with the client and dispatch contracts and bills speedily.

To follow up on all potential sales leads.

To work with the all internal Hotel operational departments and external suppliers over menus, special requirements, costs, final arrangements and anything else related to a group and/or event.
