ENG OPERATING

3. Participate in field reviews, peer reviews, optimization studies, and local operational knowledge/experience gathering.

SPECIALIST BUDGET & COST
Purpose & Scope
Liaises with all departments of KGOC, WJO and KJO to facilitate the preparation of operating and capital budgets, monitors actual expenditure against budgets on a monthly basis. Reports on variances and explains reasons for the purpose of effective cost and budgetary control.
Function and Responsibilities
1. Coordinates the annual budgeting process. Includes reviewing KPC guidelines, circulating guidelines to departments to prepare their budgets, providing comparative tables of budgets and actual costs for the previous year, analyzing proposed budgets, discussing budget proposals with departments concerned to ascertain reactions for changes from the previous years, consolidating figures for all departments and presenting them for approval
2. Support Team Leader in preparation of annual Operating (OPEX) Budget
3. Prepares/reviews the preparation of Cash Flow, forecasts, including highlighting of funding recurements to executive management

Sr GEOLOGIST
Purpose& Scope :
Directs and controls various geological activities, including preparation of geological portion of reservoir studies, exploratory project of local and regional nature, programs for exploratory and development of drilling and surveillance of geological activities related to drilling location
Functions & Responsibilities
1. Directs and supervises the activities of assigned personnel.
2. Conducts and supervises tectonic and sedimentary basin studies for evaluation of their hydrocarbon generation potential and their structural evolutation relating to Hydrocarbon Migration and Accumulation.
3. Evaluates hydrocarbon potential of lead areas by conducting and supervising geological, geochemical and petrophysical studies which lead to recommendations for exploratory and appraisal drilling locations
4. Conducts and supervises field studies using modern logging techniques, including latest computer technology and core analysis techniques. Plans and submits recommendations and proposals for exploration and delineation of field areas.
5. Organizes and supervises geological description of field reservoirs and co-ordinates with Reservoir Engineers on reservoir simulation and other reservoir studies as they are required and calculates volumetric oil in place.
6. Reviews and evaluates geological reports prepared by subordinate Geologists, and ensures that they are accurate. Writes and/or apprises specialized report as assigned
7. Supervises the maintenance of geological records and filling system, which includes a variety of important documents and confidential data
8. Performs related duties such as ensuring sufficiency of conventional core analysis and thin section and evaluations of well cuttings and ocres, co-ordinating with contractors professional staff engaged in logging and drilling and observing Fire & EHS regulations

CHIEF HR OFFICER
Purpose & Scope
Guides administration of the HR function as assigned related to Manpower and Redeployment, Recruitment, Compensation, Personnel Administration, Training & Career Development, and Insurance. Guides and ensures all activities performed comply with Company Policies and Procedures.
Function & Responsibilities
1. Supervision :Directs the activities of subordinates and delegates and distributes the work in order to meet the deadlines
2. Policy Implementation : Guides subordinates in implementation of KGOC HR Policy and Procedures and ensures that relevant information related to area of responsibility is provided to employees, external agencies and public
3. Manpower: Ensures that statistics an company manpower & annual estimates including manpower tables are updated and maintained; and processes requests related to manpower transactions including transfers and ensures such transactions are authorized, accurate and within approved manpower. 4. Provides professional advice and assistance in :
• Preparation of timely and realistic manpower plans and budgets in coordination with various Groups for immediate and future needs; reviewing and improving manpower policy, processes and procedures; and provides inputs for manpower trends in the oil and gas sector for better planning and forecasting.
• Strategic, business and operational matters related to recruitment at local and international candidates; reviewing and improving recruitment policies and procedures in line with current international trends; and developing systems whereby appropriate recruitments are made within short time frames. Ensures better sourcing for the additional skill set requirements for projects such as Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), Central Gas Utilization Project (CGUP), etc.

1. Reviews manpower forecasts and requirements received from different groups with justifications of business needs; provides recommendations and integrates long term (5 years manpower plan) with company activities

Job Description
1. Provides technical expertise and improvements for rotating and non-rotating mechanical equipment, i.e pumps, compressors, valves, piping and pressure vessels.
2. Provides plant with latest mechanical engineering technology required to support mechanical equipment under the jurisdiction of maintenance and production management
3. Leads improvement teams in their use of tools and techniques to improve equipment performance : i.e. RCA, RCM, FRACAS, PM and PdM

Job Description :
Instrument Engineer with his broad knowledge and experience provides technical expertise to the maintenance activity of all type of instrumentation controls, all type of Analyzers Instruments, ESDs, DCS system and safety protection system programmable logic control PLC in the plans and workshop. Carry our new installations, modifications and updates when required and authorized by PIC management
Duties and Responsibilities :

INSURANCE SPECIALIST
Job Summary :
Implements specific risk financing solutions in place that respond to pure risks identified by the Corporate Risk Management department to minimize the cost of risk to the group. Assists in the risk identification, implementation and monitoring financing solutions in the group companies statistical analysis and claims management
Major Duties :
1. Prepares underwriting information for various lines of insurance used in negotiations with the relevant insurance markets. This is done to ensure maximum leverage in negotiation and make sure the correct premium is charged and paid
2. Checks policy wordings and review effectiveness against claims and possible scenarios. This is done to ensure that the policy of insurance is updated and can respond to claims adequately
3. Analyzes claims in K group by attending meeting and checking adherence to the claims management procedure and payments by insurers. It is done to ensure the correct recovery of claims.
4. Implements and measures statistical information on the risk financing status in subsidiaries showing trends against actual and prepares reports showing deviation and reason thereon. This is will assist in the optimal determination between retained and transferred risk
5. Maintains and updates daily the insurance and risk finance information system by updating data daily to enable accurate and timeouts reporting on claims, status of self insured finance and insurance policies
6. Assists in workshops, training courses and Risk Assessment exercises in the group. This is done to ensure consistency of application across the department and Group
7. Examines documents of claimable amounts pertaining to Insurance submitted by various departments
8. Open files for each claim submitted and assists in following ip with insurance companies for necessary recovery. Also maintains claim register and proper records of each claim file.
