SECTION HEAD, OPERATION (REFINERY)

Job Summary

Plans, Supervises and directs the operation of the units and systems in his assigned section of Refinery operations. Participates in planning and scheduling of operations and shutdowns for his units and coordinates all maintenance and inspection work for the respective units. Coordinates training and follows up programs and progress.

Qualifications & Work experience

Qualification :

ENG (A) HAZOP

Job Summary:To perform HAZOP analyses in an Operating Petroleum Products Depot. Candidate will be responsible for evaluating the design and operational parameters of the sites processes to identify potential HAZARD’s resulting from Modifications in the processes original design intent. Conducts studies to analyze & implement changes in plant operations. Prepares HAZOP data for new new projects and major revamps. Provides comments on the drawings and P&I (Piping & Instrumentation) diagrams. Expertise in leading HAZOP studies.

• Ability to read engineering drawings (e.g. P&Ids, PFD5),

• Familiarity with noding concepts,

• Ability in HAZARD identification,

• Knowledge of LNG process operations and equipment,

DRAFTSMAN

Job Summary

Prepares and/or revises drawings on instructions or sketches related to a variety of projects in the Mechanical, HVAC, Instrumentation, Electrical and Civil Engineering fields by using Autocad/Microstation computer software/manual. Visits sites of Depots and petrol filling stations & other project sites to obtain details of existing services, structure, and site dimensions, Checks and records all as built drawings and technical document submitted by the contractors for completed projects. Reviews and amends customer Drawings in consultation with design engineers for installation of Fuel Storage Tanks/Petrol Filling Stations at Customers sites

Education and Experience Qualification

• 12 years schooling + 2 years course/technical training in Draftsmanship

CHEMIST

(Technician Laboratory)

Job Summary

Supervises, direct & control activities in the assigned area of Laboratorium section; viz Control, Certification, Analytical and Gas etc. Personally conducts complex/non-routine/check tests. Liases with user departments to review test results. Establishes work procedures & Lab test methods and ensures their conformance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor Science Degree in General Chemistry or equivalent

ENG SR DRILLING

Job Description and Responsibilities

1. The Senior Drilling Engineer is based in the Wafra Joint Operations Office. He is responsible for managing the well execution

2. Supervise the rig site Drilling Supervisors (Company Men) for 2-3 rigs

3. Responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted safely and per the EHS regulations and standards

4. Conduct regular visits to rig site to ensure that the work is performed per the plan and to monitor/drive safety & operational performance

5. Participate in the well planning process: assist in defining well objectives and review same, participate in risk assessments, approve drilling program. Participate in lessons learned process

6. Primary liaison with drilling contractors : plan work, monitor performance , plan and participate in performance reviews, ensure contractor complies with safety and environmental standards and regulations

7. Lead/participate in development of standards and recommended procedures for the Drilling division

8. Verify invoices and address any issues with Contractors as required

9. Monitor safety and operational performance of contractors, plan and participate in performance reviews, ensure contractors comply with safety and environmental standards and regulations

10. Oversees development and submission of Incident Reports and lead/participate in incidents investigation (RCA’s)

ENG DRILLING

Job Description and Responsibilities

1. Define well objectives with asset team, write drilling programs, work directional plan with directional company and asset team (including for horizontal wells)

2. Work with service companies to plan and execute the jobs (including for cementing, directional drilling)

3. Provide drilling engineering support to drilling rig during well execution: prespud meetings, discuss upcoming operation with rig, and ensure that wells are executed per the program. Verify accuracy of morning reports in Wellview

4. Prepare end of well reports, identify lessons learned, track service company performance

5. Prepare well AFE’s, track costs and verify invoices

6. Performs drilling engineering studies/projects as required. This may include offsets wells analysis, cementing optimaztion, new well projects, performance optimization

7. Participate in developing standards and recommended procedures for the Drilling division

HR CONSULTANT

(Manpower & Recruitment)

Provides professional advice and assistance in :

• Preparation of timely and realistic manpower plans and budgets in coordination with various Groups for immediate and future needs; reviewing and improving manpower policy, processes and procedures; and provides inputs for manpower trends in the oil and gas sector for better planning and forecasting.

• Strategic, business and operational matters related to recruitment at local and international candidates; reviewing and improving recruitment policies and procedures in line with current international trends; and developing systems whereby appropriate recruitments are made within short time frames. Ensures better sourcing for the additional skill set requirements for projects such as Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), Central Gas Utilization Project (CGUP), etc.

Main Tasks

A. Manpower

1. Reviews manpower forecasts and requirements received from different groups with justifications of business needs; provides recommendations and integrates long term (5 years manpower plan) with company activities

2. Follows up and provides analysis regarding the implementation of 5 years manpower plans

3. Provides feedback on manpower in terms of variances from plans trends in availability of skills and its impact and corrective actions; trends in manpower composition such as average employee age, nationality percentages, etc

4. Guides on policy, procedure and documentation matters so as to expedite manpower assessment and planning.

5. Assists in maintaining a consistent approach in decisions related to Job titles, transfers, promotions etc. in the organization.

6. Guides so that policies on Kuwatization are met and Manpower related decisions are taken as per regulations

7. Recommends specific manpower studies such as trends in leave, absenteeism, overtime and advises corrective actions

8. Advises on matter related to Organization Charts and in the correct depictions on manpower changes

9. Reviews Manpower reports to Management to ensure accuracy in reporting

B. Recruitment

1. Reviews justifications and requirements for recruitment and clarifies related qualifications, experience etc., in consultation with users and with the Job Evaluation section

2. Helps to identify priorities in recruitment

3. Advises on internal/local/international recruitment and for special skill sets and their availability

4. Reviews & amends policies, processes and procedures (such as for application processing, interviewing, interviewers’ selection, related paperwork, etc). to enable timely appropriate candidate selection

5. Advises and participates in application screening, employment tests and interviews for recruitment of senior posts

6. Assesses suitability of Manpower contractors in terms of their capability and suitability of Manpower contractors in terms of their capability and suitability in meeting recruitment requirements

7. Assists in taking adequate steps for achievement of recruitment targets (e.q. Kuwaitization)

Qualification :

1. Experience in building large geo-cellular models in HO reservoirs for simulation

3. Experience of 3D Static Modeling including structural framework model, reservoir property modeling, structural mapping and fault modeling. Stochastic modeling of complex hydrocarbon reservoir systems

4. Good understanding of Geostatistics

7. Ability to do volumetric estimation or reservoir by integrating various geo-scientific data
