1 Programme Coordinator / Senior Scientist
Essential Qualification a. For Disciplines other than Engineering subject Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist / Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay band -3 of Rs.15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/ Rs.6,000/ Rs.7,000/ Rs.8,000 having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations and impact b. For Engineering disciplines Doctoral degree in Agricultural Engineering with 6 years experience as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay band-3 of Rs.15,600- 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/ Rs.6,000/ Rs.7,000/ Rs.8,000 having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations and impact OR Masters degree in Agricultural Engineering with 10 years experience as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position In the Pay band-3 of Rs.15,600- 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/ Rs.6,000/ Rs.7,000/ Rs.8,000 having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations and impact Desirable Specialization in implementing extension education programmes

2 Subject Matter Specialist (Soil Science) – 1
Qualification – post Master’s degree in relevant field or equivalent qualification from a recognized university

3 Subject Matter Specialist (Plant Protection) – 1
Qualification – post Master’s degree in relevant field or equivalent qualification from a recognized university

4 Programme Assistant (Farm Manager) –1 post
Qualification – Bachelor degree in Agriculture / Horticulture from recognized university
Pay-Scale – Rs.9,300- 34,800 + GP Rs.4,200
5 Assistant –1 post
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with working knowledge of computers Rs.9,300- 34,800 + GP Rs.4200
