What kind of work is it?
At LineZero, we help improve businesses through the use of technology.
We work on projects using mostly Microsoft tools, typically with an Internet browser as a front-end and a SQL Server database at the back-end.
Industries, types of automation, and sizes of projects all vary greatly. Examples include manufacturing automation, accounting integration, company intranets, health records management, inventory control, marketing automation, content management systems, and more.
The geographic area served is the Greater Toronto Area.

You will have the opportunity to work from home most of the time, but you're constantly in touch with the rest of our organization by phone, e-mail, or IM.

This is a full-time, salaried position.
This position provides opportunities to work from home and from our office in Mississauga, and occasionally on-site with our clients within the Greater Toronto Area. A large degree of independence and client impact provides a rich depth of experience and high job satisfaction for the ideal candidate.
An ideal candidate will need the following:
Excellent time management and communication skills, and a good, logical, and independent mind
Ability to work on multiple projects in a team environment
Intermediate to advanced knowledge (3+ years working experience) of various development technologies including ASP.Net (C# and/or VB.Net), SQL Server & T-SQL, Javascript, HTML, etc.
In-depth experience the following is highly preferable: MS SharePoint, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, front-end programming for browser compatibility including mobile browsers
Experience with one or more of the following would be an asset:
Crystal Reports, SSRS, Integrated Services, MS Dynamics CRM, AJAX, classic ASP, PHP, IIS, MySQL, MS Access, MVC, LINQ, Entity Framework, CMS systems (e.g. Sitecore, Umbraco, Drupal, Joomla, and more), etc.
Minimum 1 year work experience in North America
A valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle
