Responsibilities:
Work in a commercial paint store selling paints, wood finishes and related products.
Process orders and returns.
Open and close store.
Supervise operations of other branch employees (2-4).
Ensure facility and equipment is cleaned and maintained.
Send all information to head office on a regular basis.
Help unload and load orders.
Mix paint and perform colour matches to customer's request.
Quickly resolve customer complaints and problems.
Check and maintain inventory levels.
Prepare day and month end summaries.
Interact with other Royal City Paint locations, head office and employees.
Help build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Organize deliveries to customers.
Make urgent deliveries or pickups if required.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Experience in the paint industry, preferably with industrial wood finishing.
Listed management experience.
Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include some overtime.
Must be computer literate.
Have knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel and MS Word.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Exhibit leadership skills and be highly self-motivated.
Valid driver's license.
High School Diploma.
