EAMCET 2014 CONDUCT OF EXAM
EAMCET 2014 is being taken by a large number of engineering and medical aspirants in Andhra Pradesh.
This is the entrance exam EAMCET 2014 for engineering (‘E’ category) and medicine (‘AM’ category: Agriculture and Medicine). This exam EAMCET 2014 is based on “Multiple choice Type Questions”. This year onwards the application submission has been made completely online. Online Application Forms are available at official website.
EAMCET 2014, Engineering/MEDICAL Examination 2014 will be conducted for a total of 160 marks. 80 marks will be allotted to Mathematics, 40 for Physics and 40 for Chemistry. 160 Questions will be asked and candidates have to answers them in the duration of 3 hours. Every question carries one mark and have no negative marking.

THE CANDIDATE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE EAMCET EXAM EVEN IF LATE BY 1 MINUTE.
Filled In Online Application Form is not a Hall Ticket, BUT IT SHOULD BE TAKEN TO THE Examination Hall.
IF YOU "FORGOT FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM"You will not be ALLOWED to take the EAMCET - 2014 test.
It is advised to visit your allotted Examination Center well before so that you can take EAMCET EXAM 2014 examination tension-free.
The candidate has to use Blue / Black Ball Point Pen only to darken the appropriate circle in OMR Answer Sheet during the EAMCET exam 2014.
Answers marked with PENCIL would not be evaluated. Hence, candidates are required to bring a good Blue / Black Ball Point Pen.
The candidate has to submit the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” to the Invigilator in the Examination Hall on the day of the EAMCET-2014 exam.
A recent color photograph (3.5cms x 3.5cms) in the box provided (Bottom – Left side) on the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM" and get attested by a Gazetted Officer / Principal of the college where studied.
The candidate belonging to SC / ST category has to submit the attested photocopy of the “CASTE CERTIFICATE” along with the “FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” to the Invigilator on the day of the EAMCET-2014 exam in the Examination Hall.

EAMCET 2014 RESULTS AND COUNSELLING &ADMISSION PROCEDURE
A state-level rank is alloted to every student based on his or her marks scored in the EAMCET 2014.
If there is tie the one who score marks in Maths/Biology ( if still tie persists in Maths/Biology..marks in Phyiscs will be consider & then) will be awarded the higher rank(Best rank)
If the tie still persists, the candidate of higher age will be awarded the higher rank(Best rank).
In recent years on EAMCET 2014, a difference of one mark has often resulted in dropping rank by 500 or more.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE: From 2009 on wards, online counseling has been started for Engineering students. The students are to submit their required documents at the prescribed office first and then will be provided with an account to log in at the counseling website.
The student will have to enter a list of colleges he or she prefers to take admission into along with the course, in the decreasing order of preference. The higher rank is most likely to get into the college of his first preference and the chances decrease as the rank lowers.

EAMCET 2014 TIPS:
One day before the test
students need atleast 6-8 hours of sleep for the brain to function efficiently. So take a good sleep before the test to stay cool
Take a night light so you do not feel drowsy or lethargic
Check only the topics you have studied before.
Do not start new threads read just before the exam , as this will be a waste of time and you may lose the information you have already captured .
You must arrive at the testing center at least one hour before the test and if you have not seen the center before, then you should go and visit the center on the day before the test.
REMEMBER THE CANDIDATE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE EAMCET 2014 EXAM EVEN IF LATE BY 1 MINUTE.
Choose a corner of the house where there is a pin drop silence .
Never go downtown on an empty stomach.
Due to anxiety, you may have the feeling of nausea , keep a very useful drug.
Bring a watch to your center, your ADMIT card/HALL TICKET ,FILLED IN ONLINE APPLICATION FORM,CASTE CERTIFICATES FOR RESERVATION CATEGORIES LIKE SC,ST AND CERTIFICATE FOR PH(PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED), a pen, two pencils , an eraser , sharpener and other relevant stationary .
On the day of the exam
Read the general instructions on the script booklet or answer questions clearly .
Keep admit card ready as the examiner would like to see when he / she begins to distribute the answer sheets .
Do not use a red pen .
Start by trying the question paper only after reading the instructions on it carefully.
While attempting questions, go on segregating them
TOPICS that you have prepared well, and you can clearly understand the meaning of these questions. You have done questions containing concept like this before and are confident that you will be able to resolve these .
other topics You know you can solve these questions, but are time consuming , however , is confident that will be able to try to resolve or when you get them. These questions should be attempted in the second round of questions to try, that is, when you have solved all questions marked with a
other type of qquestions You do not know head or tail of these questions and you should not waste time trying them .
The attempt to resolve all issues in haste increases the chances of error.
If you need a diagram to understand questions of physics or coordinate geometry etc. , do make one.
Use the value of the constants contained in the paper in solving a numerical . If the value is not mentioned , use the one you remember.
Give all three subjects equal time .
Never attempt two questions at once. Concentrate on one question at a time.
Carry out all the hard work only in the space provided in the paper.
In the final minutes , complete all questions unsupervised with any random choice , preferably your least repeated blank for obvious reasons.
