Fashion is in the air! The exciting, palpable energy of New York Fashion Week has taken over the city as nearly everyone in the industry prepares for the twice-a-year, one week long fashion extravaganza that begins tomorrow. While New York’s most venerated designers unveil their latest collections for Spring 2014, I’d like to look at the trends for this fall and translate them into the season’s jewelry.
New York Magazine’s The Cut blog has put together 20 trends from the Fall 2013 collections, eight of which translate nicely into jewelry. From royal velvet to radical flowers, I’ve curated the latest jewels, both estate and from contemporary designers, that exhibit some of the hottest fashion trends for this fall.
