JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The newest luxury residential destination on the border of Jersey City and Hoboken is proving to be a hit with renters.  Leasing is flourishing in the second upscale apartment building at the Cast Iron Collection, a vibrant new community of oversized residences in highly-amenitized buildings located in the fast-emerging SoHo West (South of Hoboken, West of New York City) neighborhood.

The first residents have already started moving into Cast Iron Lofts II, an industrial-style building featuring 232 loft-style residences with high ceilings, soaring living spaces and some of the largest floor plans in the Hudson County marketplace, according to its developer Manhattan Building Company.

The striking 27-story building ideally located at 300 Coles Street, between 17th and 18th Streets also offers a full suite of indoor and outdoor amenities and 20,000 square-feet of street-level retail space.

“Cast Iron Collection was designed as a socially-centered community where residents can enjoy a wealth of world-class amenities and mix of shops and services steps from their front door,” said Audrey Spina, Director of Leasing.  “We’re now well on our way to creating this vibrant environment.  The new arrivals are joining the hundreds of renters who already call Cast Iron Lofts home, forming a lively, close-knit urban lifestyle community.”

Welcoming the initial residents to its second apartment building is just one of the many significant milestones the Cast Iron Collection will celebrate in the weeks ahead.  The first retailers are expected to open their doors at the full-service community this spring and many outdoor recreational and social amenities, including an impressive resort-style 17,000 square-foot rooftop deck with a heated pool, pool-side shower, gas BBQ grills, outdoor fire pit lounge areas, a separate large Bark Park for pets and lush landscaping with a shaded tree grove and sitting area, are set to debut this summer.

Cast Iron Lofts II features expansive studio, one-, two- and a large selection of three-bedroom residences ranging from 885 to 1,885 square feet of living space.  The apartments are complemented by distinctive architectural elements and features, including 10’ ceiling heights with exposed duct work, oversized windows, custom walk-in closets, hardwood floors, granite countertops, bathrooms with stained marble vanity, polished porcelain Carrera-tiled floor and glass enclosed showers with shower surround and massaging shower-heads.  There’s also state-of-the-art, fully-equipped kitchens with stainless steel appliances.  Monthly rents start from $2,495.

“We have a large number of floor plans to choose from, including apartments with a bonus den,” Ms. Spina adds.  “These residences are significantly larger than those found in high-rise rental buildings along the waterfront.  Each apartment is bathed in natural light and has been designed to maximize layout and location, with many boasting magnificent views of the New York City skyline and/or the Statute of Liberty.”

In addition to the outdoor rooftop deck, residents at Cast Iron Lofts will have access to a state-of-the-art fitness center with training stations, yoga studio and fitness on demand system, business center, private conference room, children’s playroom, resident lounge with bar, fireplace, billiard table and large screen TV; a lobby library lounge and bike storage.

“To fully maximize the resident experience, we’re also offering a 24-hour concierge, lobby package display system, valet dry cleaning service, on-demand fitness reservation system and indoor reserved garage parking,” Ms. Spina points out.

Cast Iron Lofts’ unique location provides easy access to some of New Jersey’s most dynamic urban centers.  Within minutes, residents can enjoy all that Hoboken and downtown Jersey City have to offer.  Complimentary daily shuttle service is provided to nearby PATH stations and NY Waterway ferry terminals, while the community’s SoHo Link service offers transportation to select local destinations, including SoHo in New York City.  The building is also convenient to the New Jersey Turnpike extension for an easy commute into north and central New Jersey.

An onsite leasing center is now open at Cast Iron Lofts at 837 Jersey Avenue.  For additional information on the rental homes and to schedule a private tour of the furnished model residences and amenity spaces, please call (201) 795-3500 or visit www.castironcollection.com.
