We are currently seeking a Vice President of Product Management to support our Tax Lot Engine and Cost Basis Reporting products.     The Tax Lot Engine (TLE) is a tax lot accounting system that provides a cost basis repository maintained in a relational database. Tax Lot Engine complies with all regulatory requirements for government mandated Cost Basis Reporting (CBR) and supplies the functional scope needed by our clients to meet their business objectives. Job Description:

Primary tasks will be associated with the enhancements required by the Cost Basis Reporting ("CBR") regulations imposed by the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008.

Responsible for managing the business direction, strategy and growth of our products. This includes oversight of resource deployment for the SSR process from point of entry thru to production implementation, inclusive of regulatory and industry/ Broadridge initiatives.

Directly involved in the management of high-profile projects / tasks as required inclusive of the management of resources available to achieve the objective of the organization.

Direct troubleshooting and resolution of application related problems and serve as the first level of escalation for issues that impact the client’s normal processing. Counsels and communicates with senior personnel at client firms with regard to application usage, problem resolution, and procedures.

Effectively manages internal resources in order to solve production issues and updates Department Head accordingly. Supervise the development of the Product Management associated reporting into this position. Establish department requirements for training and standards for associate performance growth. Provide mentoring and arrange formal training classes for newer associates. Ensure the successful execution of projects and provide timely updates to Department Head on project progress.

Requirements and Testing- oversees the requirements writing process. Provides direction and input when needed. Reviews and critiques requirements to ensure that standards are upheld and target dates are met. Oversees test plan creation, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

Leads cross departmental activities. Serves as the point person in resolving issues that require cross departmental solutions.

Responsible for supporting Marketing and Sales of their products including supporting preparation of Sales collateral, identifying and coordinating sales associate training, perform demos and consult with prospects and propose solutions based on prospects requirements.

Make certain that all associates have the necessary Broadridge tools for proper tracking, escalation, and timely resolution to address client inquiries. Responsible for identifying, planning and organizing training requirements aligned with themes across the career development plans of entire team. Ensure associate engagement and satisfaction.

Responsible for formulating department budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, and developing operational policies within area managed.

Participate in and contribute to development of Broadridge’s strategic direction meetings as needed in exploring new product opportunities. Keeps abreast of pending industry related changes and participates in industry advisory groups and sub-committees as needed.

Responsible for the build out of new products and solutions.

Support the implementation of new client installations.

Qualifications:

BS/BA or equivalent level of education/training/experience.

Proficient in Broadridge’s Tax Lot Engine and Cost Basis Reporting products or business knowledge of the brokerage industry, specifically as it related to cost basis reporting and corporate actions applications.

10 years experience working in the Brokerage industry.

8-10 years in a management or leadership role.

Demonstrates superior people skills including working with difficult clients.

Exceptional problem solving, prioritization and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and conflicting deadlines. Create and work effectively in a team environment.

Maintains a strong ability to adapt to clients’ changing needs and wants, within a widely varied client base.

Strong ability to negotiate conflict situations into positive solutions. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to accurately communicate department procedures in order to manage Product Services.

Superior judgment with regard to people; ability to understand and motivate associates.
