Hello and happy Labor Day friends! Are you ready for Fall? It’s still stinkin’ hot here in the Lone Star state, but that doesn’t stop me from Fall-ifying every corner of the House of Wood. As soon as September rolls around, I’m breaking out the boots, scarves, and pumpkin spice everything. *Side note: Texas temps do not lend themselves well to boots and scarves (well, maybe boots). But Fall is here and I refuse to let this little thing called the sweltering Texas sun stop me from celebrating my favorite season of all time. I will press on.
September 1st hits and I switch out the wreath on my door, plant some mums, and drench my entire house in everything autumnal. When I’m done, it looks like Fall literally threw up all over my house. Not even kidding. My husband wishes I were kidding. How about you? Do you decorate for Fall like a crazy person? Just me?
Well, you’re in for a treat – I’ve hand-picked four of my DIY blogger besties and they’re going to be joining me in hosting this month’s “Virtual DIH Workshop.” Check out this stellar lineup. These ladies are incredibly creative, inspiring, talented and they can all build like a boss. It’s going to be one heck of a virtual party.

We’re building this cute rustic wheelbarrow so be sure to check back next week to see how we put our own spin on things. And guess what. You can learn how to make your own rustic wheelbarrow at The Home Depot’s DIH Workshop that is happening next Thursday! Click the image below to check your local store for details. Bring your besties and make it a ladies night. It’ll be exactly one ton of fun.
The Home Depot offers Workshops at all of their store locations. There are three types of Workshops: Do-It-Yourself (DIY), Do-It-Herself (DIH), and Kids. We love that Home Depot offers these free workshops because folks can come and learn how to build home decor projects, make easy home repairs and renovations, and safely operate power tools through the demonstrations and step-by-step instructions.
Want to learn more? Visit http://workshops.homedepot.com and be sure to mark your calendar to attend the DIH Workshop this month!
