3 hour drop-off playgroup on the Westside. There are some openings for the Wed. playgroup that they’d love to fill. The playgroups are a mixture of messy and creative free play and light structured group activities such as art, music and movement, circle time etc. It’s home based, with only 6 kids maximum, so it is a nurturing, non-intimidating and no pressure environment. The main focus is socialization, independence, and learning how to get needs met in appropriate ways. The groups are led by a fellow mom of two who is also a former child therapist and behavior interventionist. It’s a fraction of the cost of preschool, very flexible and a great break for a SAHM.
