Your Jr. Chef can make Ice Cream Cake

Since this ice cream cake should be good and frozen, make it either the night before or the morning of. This recipe uses strawberry, vanilla bean and roasted pistachio, but you can use any good-quality store-bought flavors. After coating a 9″ x 5″ loaf pan with butter to make plastic-wrap-lining stick (and so the sides will be smooth), press ground wafer cookies/butter onto the bottom, and spread first flavor of softened ice cream on ground cookie base, then freeze for at least 2 hrs. Evenly spread on 2nd flavor of softened ice cream, and freeze at least 2 hrs more. Spread last flavor, and freeze at least 4 hrs. Take cake out of pan, remove plastic wrap, slice and enjoy. So easy! Parental supervision.
