New iPhone that is released is baptized with a number preceded by the phone name iPhone itself. The obvious presumptive name for Apple’s next flagship phone will be iPhone 6, so don’t be surprised with the name anymore. How long can Apple keep putting an ever-increasing number to the name of its latest iPhone? It already ended with the iPad after two models. The word Air is added to the most recent creation indicating how slim and light it had made the tablet.
Over the past 3 months, Apple Inc. recently sold close to 33.8 million iPhone units. Apple is doing a dazzling job with regards to expanding their growth rate although they are loyal with their phone’s screen size display of four inches. Let’s check out some of the feature fantasies of iPhone 6.

The next iPhone 6 could be armoured with a screen made of sapphire – typically blue, transparent precious stone that is a variety of corundum (aluminum oxide), which is far more durable than any glass on the market. Plus Solar Charging to Sapphire Screens
With the patent granted to Apple to produce solar powered phones, solar charging screens are just as close to reality! According to Matt Margolis of Seeking Alpha, he believes that this type of solar screen is being built in the Arizona facility. But still clouds of uncertainty are arising because the given rumour about the iPhone’s 6 body is that it will be only 6 mm thick. There’s only a little room for more screen layers. If Apple will increase the phone’s body thickness, solar charging screens can fit.
Screen Size, Goodbye to Two Generations 4-Inch Display Loyalty?
Apple badly needs a 5-inch phablet to win the attention of consumers according to critics. Since Apple does not like to copy its competitors, they remained loyal to their trademark 4-inch display iPhone with Retina Display. Apple will increase the screen size to 4.7-inches, while others speculate that a 4.7-inch iPhone and a 5.7-inch iPhone/iPad hybrid can appear. iPhone 6 is going to have a “bezel-free” display, which means that the screen will stretch from edge to edge, horizontally, according to a report from The Korea Herald. A November Bloomberg report says that Apple is working on new iPhone 6 models that come with “curved glass” that bends downward at the edges and sensors that can detect different levels of pressure applied on the screen.
Camera and iOS 8
There will be introduction of 802.11ac Wi-Fi along with a 128GB storage capacity, and the camera could get an upgrade to 13-megapixels according to rumours. The iPhone 6 will be equipped with iOS 8. Nothing has been heard about it at this early stage. We just have to see where Apple takes its newly redesigned OS next.
iPhone 6 Release Date and Price
Nobody really knows when the iPhone 6 is coming out. If Apple sticks to its usual launch schedule, the iPhone 6 would follow a year after iPhone 5S, which means that it would be out September 2014. Some rumours point to a May 2014 launch of the iPhone 6 as the most probable. Apple is gearing up for a May launch of the new iPhone according to Digitimes and its supply chain sources.
More recent rumours suggest that the iPhone 6 could be released in June. With regards to price, Apple typically releases its new models at the same price as the old ones. If that happens then, and assuming that the 16GB model is dropped, we’d expect the 32GB model to cost £529, the 64GB model £599 and the 128GB model £699.
