Netflix’s House of Cards is one of my favorite shows these days and I am truly in awe of the show’s leading lady, Claire Underwood, played by the gorgeous Robin Wright. She never goes wrong with her wardrobe or hair and makeup – whether she’s dressed for work, a banquet dinner or even when she goes for a run. For someone in her late 40s, she’s the kind of lady all women aspire to be and all men fancy.

This week, I’ve decided to give you a step-by-step guide to get Claire Underwood hair! If you have short hair or are thinking of going short, give this serious consideration – however, make sure that you have a strong bone structure and the right attitude to carry this look off.

STEP 1: If you’ve got fine hair, start by shampooing it with label.m Thickening shampoo & conditioner to add volume, moisture and elasticity to the hair. Otherwise, you can also try out the new label.m Brightening Blonde shampoo and conditioner. I can definitely see Claire using that! Do note that shampoo and conditioner play a great role in creating and maintaining a particular look.

STEP 2: Apply some label.m Texturising Volume Spray which instantly teases out edgy texture in your hair and builds height with long-lasting grip on damp hair and gives volume lift at the roots.

STEP 3: Roughly finger dry your hair using a blow dryer, and flat-wrap it in every direction with a grooming brush so that it can flit in every direction (without making any partings), and then brush hair forward and down to frame the face.

STEP 4: Use the label.m Volume Foam next, which is a lightweight foam dedicated to volumising fine hair to create pliable texture. Patting the hair gently, twirl little pieces with your fingers to separate. If you have thick hair, skip this step.

STEP 5: To complete the look, lightly comb the bangs, sweep them to the right and spray label.m Hairspray which contains pro-vitamin B5 and naturally derived conditioners to protect, hold and add gloss to hair. Just run your fingers through your hair again to give it a natural look, and you’re good to go!
