PB Crave is an innovative, new peanut butter company, started by Curt Reiss of Curt’s Peanut Butter Company in Cannon Falls, MN.  PB Crave prides itself as a quality producer of flavored peanut butters, whose peanut butters are produced using high-quality, all natural ingredients.  PB Crave peanut butters all natural ingredients align with Fit Pick nutritional requirements, which are based on joint criteria published by the American Heart Association, the 2005 USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans, and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation Guidelines for Competitive Foods.

A minimum of 2% of the profits from every jar of PB Crave go directly to Project Peanut Butter, a non-profit organization focused on treating malnourished children.  This non-profit organization has helped save the lives of more than 100,000 children through ready-to-use therapeutic foods (RUTFs) featuring high-calorie, fortified peanut butter-like pastes.

PB Crave comes in four fabulous flavors:  Choco Choco, CoCo Banana, Razzle Dazzle, and Cookie Nookie.

And while all four of these flavors are BANANAS! (heh), my heart definitely lies with the CoCo Banana flavor.

It’s a perfect blend of cocoa, bananas, and wild honey.  And it makes a mean banana bread…but more on that later…

Not only did I have the opportunity to taste and review these fabulous flavored peanut butters, but I have some to give away to one of you!!!

When I received my PB Crave samples, my wheels immediately started turning.  And then, I fell in love with the Coco Banana flavor.  And a lightbulb went off in my head.  And that lightbulb said, “Make a banana bread. DUH!”

Always listen to the lightbulb.  Because, this bread (originally from Cookies and Cups) is what can happen if you do…

Peanut Butter Cup and Peanut Butter Banana Bread

Ingredients

3 large, ripe bananas (mashed)

1/2 cup Coco Banana PB Crave Peanut Butter

1/4 cup oil

1 egg

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1 8 oz. bag of Reese’s mini cups

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350. Grease a loaf pan using nonstick cooking spray, and line pan with parchment paper or foil for easy removal.

In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In a larger bowl, stir together the bananas, peanut butter, oil, egg, and sugars.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until ingredients are just combined. Be careful to not overstir.

Fold in your Reese’s mini cups.

Spread batter into your prepared loaf pan. (I made a double batch)

Bake for approximately 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean of batter.

Let the loaf cool for approximately 10 minutes before removing from pan. Allow the loaf to come to room temperature before wrapping tightly with plastic wrap. Place the loaf in the fridge to chill before slicing.

See all that meltedy chocolate in the middle?  Yeah…I didn’t wait to chill it before slicing.  But, if you want nice slices, I recommend that you do so.

I brought this bread to a work luncheon.  There was NONE left.

Now quit drooling over the bread and enter to win some CoCo Banana PB Crave!
