** Job Description**
Eaton Corporation located in Aurora, OH (manufactures hose & tubing products) has an opening for 2nd shift Maintenance/Electrical Mechanic.
Primary Responsibilities:
Repair, maintain, and update all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance functions on all equipment and machinery addressing both mechanical and electrical applications.
Job Functions:
* Machine and system preventative and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* Improving machine operating efficient.
* Maintains plant support systems and all other duties as assigned.
* Troubleshooting, repair and replacement of electrical equipment including motors, contactors and relays using appropriate diagnostic tools including fault isolation and ladder logic diagrams.
* Must have knowledge of PLC programs and how to troubleshoot.
* Maintain, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Must be capable of reading and troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams, making mechanical repairs (replacing clutches, pumps, gears and bearings).
* Must have basic machine shop skills with grinders, mills and lathes, stick and mig welding and general pipefitting.
* Maintain records and logs for equipment, spare parts, and inventory.
* Maintain surrounding for safety of all personnel; ensuring compliance with all company and safety requirements.
* Must be willing and able to participate in continuing education and training to improve skills by satisfactorily completing employer-sponsored programs (or equivalent external courses).

** Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)**
Basic Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required.
* Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship.
* Must reside within a 50 mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit provided for this position.
